A warm, natural documentary approach
Documentary wedding photography means photographing your day as it actually happens, rather than staging it. Instead of a long shot list and posed setups, I stay quiet and present, catching real moments as they unfold: your dad's face during the speeches, the friend who can't stop laughing. Portraits still happen, but they're short: 20 to 30 minutes of calm, simple direction, then back to your day.
I shoot digital for reliability and 35mm film for texture, and every final image is delivered three ways: colour, black and white, and film emulation. A gallery of 500 photos means 500 in each style. Sneak peeks arrive within 72 hours.
Documentary coverage suits couples who want to remember how the day felt, not how it was arranged. It's the approach I use for every wedding across Kelowna and the Okanagan, from lakeside ceremonies to mountain elopements.

I'm a Kelowna wedding photographer and videographer, a music lover, and a bit of a romantic about the little in-between moments. My style is warm, natural, and documentary. I chase real emotion and give calm, simple direction, so your portraits still feel like the two of you.
From intimate mountain elopements to big lakeside celebrations across the Okanagan, my job is to make you feel comfortable and looked after, from our first hello to the day your gallery lands in your inbox. I work throughout the valley, including Penticton and Vernon.
