My best advice is to wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Neutral, earthy tones like cream, beige, rust, and olive always photograph beautifully against the Okanagan landscape. Think textures and layers over busy patterns and bright logos.

As an Okanagan photographer, I'm used to the valley's changing weather! Overcast skies can actually be amazing for photos. However, if we're facing heavy rain or unsafe conditions, we can absolutely reschedule your session for another date.

Photographers love the "Golden Hour"—the hour just after sunrise or before sunset—for its beautiful, warm light. However, I believe that a happy kid is always more important than perfect light.

We will work together to schedule our session around what works best for your family, especially nap times for little ones. A well-rested child will always lead to a more successful and joyful session. We'll find the perfect balance between beautiful light and your family's rhythm.

First, please don’t worry about this! I understand that kids have their own plans. We will create a relaxed, no-pressure environment where your kids can be themselves.
